Conservation Values and Strategies for the Last Frontier

This seminar is part of a series designed to engage a broad constituency of Big Bend community members to better inform them on recent energy projections, potential impacts on communities and conservation values, and to develop creative strategies to conserve the unique resources and communities of the region.

Featured speakers Louis Harveson and Billy Tarrant of the Borderlands Research Institute discussed the natural and cultural resources that make the Big Bend region unique and presented tools and strategies that can minimize impacts future energy development can bring to the area.
